When I was asked to be part of the Shop Your Closet challenge, I didn't even hesitate.
I immediately knew I wanted to be a part of it. I had to be a part of it!
See the contest, hosted by Of Wit and Will, is basically a challenge to re-create looks from the Fall 2013 fashion weeks.
Looks are chosen straight from the runways in New York, London, Paris and Milan.
And from those runway looks, I was asked to style an "everygirl" version.
How I would wear that trend in my actual life (although I sometimes wish my actual life was that of a high-end fashion runway)

Once I decided I was participating (aka 2 seconds after reading the email) I decided I wanted to challenge myself.
I wasn't going to take the easy route and choose looks I consider comfortable or easy.
I decided to pick looks slightly out of my comfort zone and really push myself to transform the pieces already in my closet into a fun outfit that fits the highlighted trend AND my style.
