If you live in New York or are visiting New York this Summer, I highly recommend carving out time to go to www.5pointz.com
Easily the coolest (and cheapest...as it's free) place to go on a nice afternoon.
Located in Queens, 5Pointz is basically an abandoned industrial park turned amazing street art exhibit.
Amazing graffiti by local and well-known street artists that is constantly changing and pretty damn awesome.
This past Saturday afternoon, some friends and I went out to Queens (a quick 20 min from midtown) to explore.
It was hot and sticky (as every summer day in NYC seems to be) so I kept the outfit simple and comfortable.
Short shorts, thin top and my trust converse...which I literally do not know what I would do without.
|Shorts (Urban Outfitters), Shoes (Converse), Top (American Apparel), Bag (Zara), Sunglasses (Vince Camuto)|
A few more pictures of the artwork. Seriously, go. Soon.
They're supposedly knocking the entire thing down at the end of Summer and believe me, you have to see this place in person.
